Our Church HomeVisitors are always welcome at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, located at East 52nd Street and Central Avenue (5 blocks east of Meridian). There is a parking lot just north of the church building. The English Gothic church building was constructed in 1931. The sanctuary is adorned with many pieces of art, much of it the heritage of Rev. Donald Elder, who served Bethlehem from 1941-1977. In 1957 the congregation added the parish hall, which includes classrooms, offices, a lounge, kitchen, fellowship hall, nursery, etc. Handicap AccessibilityThe parking lot has spaces reserved for handicapped visitors. The buildings have handicap access through a ramp and automatic door on the south (52nd St) side and an elevator in the parish hall.. Bethlehem's Staff
