FRIENDSHIP Vacation Bible School

Place: Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Dates: Sunday, June 29 - Thursday, July 3, 2008
Tentative Schedule: Dinner 5:30 pm; Gathering 6:00-8:00 pm

During this year's VBS, we are going to talk about friendship: Jesus is our friend and makes us be friends. We are planning worship, music, small group discussions, crafts, games and activities that focus on how to be friends with Jesus and others.

Since VBS is being held at our church this year, there will be lots of volunteer opportunities close to home. BLC is currently scheduled to provide three meals that week. In addition to kitchen help, we will also need small group leaders, musicians, crafters, game leaders, nursery staff and more. Please contact Nancy Slover to sign up.

Youth Groups & Youth Cafe

Youth activities for junior and senior high youth are planned in cooperation with other Indianapolis Lutheran congregations. Youth Cafe, a class for grades 7 to 12, meets Sunday mornings at 9:45 on the 3^rd floor. Friends are welcome!

Parent Garden

This fellowship for families with children 5 and under meets one Thursday evening per month for dinner and an activity for the children.

Kidpatch

This group for elementary school age children meets once per month.

Advent and Christmas

A Birthday Party for Jesus and other activities aim to instill in the children an appreciation for the true meaning of Christmas.
